PRICE OF NEWSPRINT IN BRITAIN LONDON. March 21. The price of newsprint is being increased 90s a ton from April 1, with a further increase of 70s in July, making the price then £25 a ton compared with £ll 5s at the outbreak of f he war. This means that Lne newspapers generally will raise the.r advertisement rates. Some advocate an allround Increase of 10 cent. Ano’r.er .suggestion is the price c* »>?n?y papers to '.hree halfpence.
