DUCHESS THEATRE

Breaking sharply away from a routine theme, "They Made Her a Spy” proves an entertaining drama on Governmental intelligence methods. The picture, which is screening to-night at the Duchess Theatre, presents a vivid description of the activities of foreign spy rings in America and how such rings are organised and operated, their methods of concealment and their objectives. Most of the action takes place in the national capital, with Sally Eiliers as a patriotic girl who becomes an American counterspy in a foreign ring, and Allan Dane as a newspaper reporter who also joins the ring to get material for an expose. Also screening is George O’Brien in “Arizona Legion,” a thrilling and exciting story of the early days of the State of Arizona, with Loraine Johnson and Chill Wills.
