MR. SAVAGE’S ILLNESS

FEDERATION OF LABOUR SYMPATHY. [ Per Frees Atsoi-.atlon.] WELLINGTON, March 19. The following resolution with reference to Mr. Savage’s illness, was passed at the annual conference of the New Zealand Federation of Labour: “That the conference extends its heartfelt sympathy to Mr. Savage in his illness and records its appreciation of his long years of service to the ideals of Labour, and expresses the earnest hope*lhat he will soon be restored to health and that the Labour movement will have the benefit of hi.s wise leadership for many years to come. Also that this resolution be conveyed to Mr. Savage forthwith.”
