SMALL BOY'S DEATH
BODY WASHED UP ON BEACH [ Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Jan. 19. The body of Edward McCallum, a small boy who was last seen on Friday bathing in the surf near the rocks’that line McKechnie's Beach, Kaka Point, was washed up near the mouth of the Molyneux River, where it was discovered to-day by two young men who communicated with the police at Balclutha. The boy was the third youngest of a family of 12.
