GANG OF YOUTHS CAUGHT IN CHRISTCHURCH APPEARANCE IN COURT [ Per Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 18. The round up of a gang of four youths who •in a week converted 13 cars, valued at more than £3OOO, resulted in two of them, Gordon Daniel McDonald, aged 17, and Robert Stanley Blight, also aged 17, appearing in Court to-day. The other two will appear in the Juvenile Court on Saturday. McDonald and Blight were remanded till then. The police said that McDonald carried a bunch of keys and unlocked the doors of cars which were then driven till they ran out of petrol and were knocked about. In remanding accused, the magistrate said he did not intend to treat them as juveniles.
