OBITUARY

MRS. G. BULLOCK-DOI GLAS The death of Mrs. G. BullockDouglas, a former well-known resident of Wanganui, has occurred in Hamilton. Mrs. Bullock-Douglas left Wanganui in March, 1938, for Tauranga, where she joined her younger son, Mr. Arthur Bullock-Douglas, a former All Black, who had been transferrerd tc the National Bank there and who recently enlisted for military service. She died in Hamilton where she had been staying with relatives. Mrs. Bullock-Douglas was a member of the Victoria League and the fTunket Society while she lived in Wanganui. She leaves two sons, the other being Mr. Cyril McLeod. Mrs. Bullock-Douglas’ second husband, Mr. George Bullock-Douglas, was a former sub-editor of the Wanganui Herald and editor of the ''Chronicle.”
