January 18. 1940), at 8.45 am. for St. Mary’s Citurch, where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thence to the Wanganui Catholic Cemetery.—Dempsey and Sons. Funeral Directors, 144 \ ictoria Avenue, Wtyiganui. HOOPER—On January 17, 1940, at the Wanganui Public Hospital. Helen, beloved wife of Richard Valentine Hooper, late of Aotea Street. Castlecliff: aged 74 years. Private interment. —Dempsey and Sons. Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Aventie. Wanganui. BULLOCK-DOUGLAS On January 15. 1940. at Hamilton. Mary Emily, loved wife of the late George Gilbert Bullock-Douglas, of Wanganui.
