NEW MARCHING SONG

MAORI BATTALION SUNG AT TRENTHAM ; One of the most stirring sounds to : be heard at Trentham camp is the I new marching song of the Maori battalion. Set to a fine, swinging tune, the song is sung by the Maori troops on the march every bit as lustily as were the war cries of old. The words are:— Maori Battalion march to victory, ?>laori Battalion, staunch and true, Maori Battalion march to glory, 'Take the honour of your people with you. We will march, march, march to the enemy. We will fight right to the end, For God, for King, and for Country, Eh Ah Ake, Kia Toa, Eh!
