LICENCES TO BL Y WOOL STATEMENT BY MINISTER. [Per Press Association. Lee Marlin, • this evening. “Under these licences: dealers are authorised to buy direct from producers if producer- consider : it advisable to sell in this manner; rather than submit their wool foi appraisal at brokers' stores in the usual way. "Any wool bought by licensed wool dealers must, alter the necessary preparation by such dealer, be submitted for appraisal on the dealer's account through the wool store of a re-, cognised wool-broking firm. "Farmers must understand that onselling wool to a licensed dealer the i farmer gives up all his interest in the wool and therefore cannot participate |' in any distribution of money from the Suspense Account which may be gc- J rived either from the 5 per cent, held i back from the wool payments or from ! New Zealand’s share in profits gained ; from wool resold tr other countries by ' the United Kingdom Government."
