HUNTER VILLE PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
WOMEN'S SUB-COMMITTEE FAREWELLS TO SOLDIERS BEING ARRANGED , A meeting of ladies was held in the j Town Hall, HunterviUe for the ipur|pose of forming a sub-committee of the HunterviUe and District Patriotic Committee to deal with social activities. The following were present: Mesdames Gordon, Pitcaithley, Boswell, I McNabb, A. MeAlley, Henwood, Cole-1 I man. Ching, Moore, Aidworth, ChanI nings, and Holford. I It was resolved that all members i present form a general committee : with power to add, and that an executive of seven be formed—made up as follows: Chairman, Mrs. Gordon; secretary, Mi's. McNabb; committee, Mesdames Pitcaithley, A. MeAlley, Aidworth, Henwood, and G. ColemanIt was resolved to recommend to the district committee that the farewells to persons enlisting be arranged during the final leave of the soldiers.
