Forecast. —Winds; Moderate t< fresh northerlies prevailing from Cook Strait southwards; elsewher light to moderate and variable. Seas (New Zealand waters); Mod erate to rather rough about Cook Strait and south of Cape Egmont elsewhere slight or moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea; North-westerb winds, light in the northern portion with slight seas, moderate t< strong in the southern portion with rather rough seas. Weather Continuing fair to fine and warm generally, except on the west coas of the South Island, where scattered rain is likely.
