A well-seasoned pair, they should make their presence felt in their respective holiday engagements. Ramleh (George) encompassed a mile at three-quarter pace and sprinted the last two furlongs in 25 Jsec. He is in better order than at any other stage of his career. Kilometre (Sexton) and Prime Quality (Ryan) were companions over six furlongs in 1.16 3-5, after running the first four furlongs in 50 4-ssec. Both horses can be relied upon for solid efforts at Awapuni on Saturday, when they will be ridden by W. J. Broughton and P. Burgess respectively. Manawatu Cup Trial.
