Wr suggest to those in authority that in future all such funerals should be conducted with all reverence and reaped, but tiial here should be no ptior piiblicti.v whatever. Unfortunately in the terrible struggle into which \.e haw entered there will bo only too abundant opportunity for sorrowing; but let us honour the b.ave dead quietly and >ct protect ou. people against any serious risk to wiiich this city has already been subjected."
