WANGANUI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB I’ROl’in COMPETITION The Wanganui Defence Rifle Cluh filed a competition on Saturday for a trophy donated by Mr. P. C. Hamilton, seven shots at 300 and 600yds. H. Hedges secured the possible al 300yds.. and W. Howard was the winner ol the trophy. There was a tricky tight wind blowing and the lignl al 600yds. was troublesome to several competitors. The club hopes to be well represented at the North Island chtinpionfehip meeting, to be held at Putiki, <»n Boxing Day. Club shooting will be 1 resumed on January 13. at Aramoho.
