MOTOR FATALITIES IN BRITAIN Received Dec. 8, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 7. Three thousand people have been killed in Britain as a result of road accidents during the war. which is double the peacetime figure. It: is pointed out that if the rate continues for three years the deathroll will reach 40,000 —the equivalent of a whole army corps.
