Doric Star was attacked by a German raider. As no further information has been received, it is presumed that she has been sunk. She was voyaging from New Zealand and Australia. It is TiniiTStood that the Doric Star was sunk in the South Al’antie and, it is assumed, by the German warship Admiral Scheei'. The Berlin radio says the Dorie Star was sunk in the South Atlantic. 'l’he Daily Mail says it is believed the Dorie Star was attacked in the region of lite Cape of Good Hope.
