TENNIS DANCE. (Own Correspondent.• MATAROA, Oct. 28. A h ghiy successful and extremely enjoyable dance was held in the Mataroa Hall on Thursday evening in aid of the funds of the Mataroa School and the Tennis Club. Thu music was supplied by Carrington's orchestra, extras being played by Miss Fahey and Messrs. R. Marks and W. Arrow Mr. Marks was M.C. The hall was tastefully decorated With greenery and coloured streamers. A most appetising supper was provided by the ladies of the district. The programme included a Monte Carlo waltz won by Miss H. Dunn and Mr. .1. Beckett. a*d a spot waltz won by Miss Rae Morrison and Mr. Alex Williams. A cake donated by Mrs. F. Ward was won by Mr. F. Evans.
