The competition for first or cham I pion must be won three times to be‘come outright. In addition the firn: [will give to the winners of each seaison a trophy valued at £2 2s, i a collection of seeds. ■ The competition will be for the be ’ crop, weight and quality to be taker into consideration. The minimun area for mangolds will be half ar ’acre and for cairots a quarter of ar acre. For weight, half a point a tor , will be awarded for mangolds ar.c three-quarters of a point a ton for carrots.
