FALL AT BOTTOM OF HILL lIA N DLEB ARS JAM M ED I Per Prei-s Association 1 NEW PLYMOUTH. Aug. 10. Thomas Farrell, aged 38. single. Stratford, was killed in Stratford when he fell from a cycle while riding downhill carrying an attache case. It appears he was freewheeling down a short hill and caught his knee when he resumed pedalling. This evidently jammed the handlebars, throwing him off the road. Head injuries are believed to have caused almost instantaneous death.
