TEN YEARS' SENTENCE
man with gelignite DECLARATION IN COURT LONDON, Aug. 8. Edward Gill was sentenced in Glascgow to ten yearn' penal servitude for being in possession of gelignite. Accused refused to plead. After the sentence he pointed to the prosecutor and declared: “That paid agent ol British Imperialism has branded me a criminal. If it is a crime to love Ireland, thank God 1 committed one." The Judge said: "Your crim" is serious. I must do my duty."
