I I 11.1.-I ATEH I AMIIA •SYDNEY. July 24. The Sydney Morning Herald points , out that Homeric, who had to be de- \ stroyed on Saturday, was the third : son of Quadrilateral to break a leg. His full-brother Homer met with his accident a few days after dead-heat-ing in the A.J.C. Derby, and his halfbrother Rob Roy broke a leg during a training gallop at Melbourne, but was saved for the stud. Homeric, who cost 1900 guineas, was not insured.
