REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY

: BUSH BEAT POVERTY BAY MATC H AT I’AHIATI A ( Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., July 18. In a representative Rugby match at Pahiatua this afternoon, Bush defeated Poverty Bay by 14 to 6 in an open, uneventful game. The heavy ground suited the Bush forwards who, though a fighter pack, were superior in lhe loose and in fine individual dribbling runs. The ’Bay backs handled better but the Bush ' tackling held the attacks. The greasy ball made passing uncertain. Mr. E. McKenzie, sole selector for 'the New Zealand Rugby Union, was a spectator.
