DRUNK IN CHARGE CERTIFIED BY A DOCTOR ( Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jul? 14. Arrested by a traffic inspector at an intersection yesterday afternoon, Sydney Herbert Boamanar pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-truck. The police said the truck took a wide sweep when turning and collided with another vehicle in the line ol traffic. A doctor certified that accused was intoxicated. He had no licence to drive. Mr. J. Morling, S.M., sentenced him to 14 days’ imprisonment and prohibited him from driving for three years. Accused was convicted and discharge!
