MAN WHO LOST A LEG CLAIM AGAINST RAILWAYS [ Per Press z\sscci?tlon. J BLENHEIM, July 14. In a case in which Walter Todd, carrier, of Picton, claimed £2OOO from the Railways Department for the loss of a leg the jury awarded the full amount after a retirement of under half an hour. The case was adjourned to enable counsel for defendant to consider points of law involved. The jury held the department’s servants negligent and absolved plaintiff.
