DOMINION BREWERIES
DIVIDEND OF 12 PER CENT. RECOMMENDED. [ Pei Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 20. The directors of the Dominion Breweries, Limited, have decided to recommend shareholders to declare a dividend at the rate of 12 per cent, per annum calculated on the amount paid up on all shares from time to time during the year ended March 31, less the interim dividend paid in December, 1938. The proposed payment is the final distribution for the year ended March 31. The interim dividend of 11 per cent, per annum was equal to £5 18s per cent, on fullypaid shares for the six months and the final rate on this basis of calculation provides a further £6 10s per cent, for the six months, making 12 per cent, for the year on fully-paid Shares and 12 per cent, on the amount paid up from time to time on the contributing shares which during the period have become fully paid. In the previous year shareholders received 10 per cent, as against 9 per cent, in 1937.
