NAZI PLOT IN RUMANIA
ATTEMPT AGAINST CAROL'S LIFE DISCOVERED Received June 18. 7.30 p.m. BUCHAREST, June 17. The police announce a widespread Nazi-Iron Guard plot to assassinate King Carol, M.M. Calinescu and Gafencu and other members of the Government. Six former employees of the army arsenal have been arrested and charged with preparing grenades.
