J HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the provisions of the Industry Licensing (Radio Manufacture) Notice, 1939, all persons who are engaged as principals in the industry of “the manufacture for sale of radio receiving sets” are required to obtain licenses from the Bureau of Industry to continue carrying on the industry on and after the Ist July, 1939. Applications in writing, on forms which may be obtained from the offices of the Department of Industries and Commerce in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and. Dunedin, should be forwarded to the undersigned forthwith. The industry covered by the above notice is defined therein as follows: "The manufacture of any type of apparatus for the reception and audible reproduction of electro-magnetic radiations from any broadcasting station, and also the assembly parts of any such apparatus, but not the manufacture only of parts or subparts or the assembly only of subparts into parts."
