INTER-CLUB MATCHES WANGANUI AND PALMERSTON NOTRH LADIES. SEIFERT CUP CHALLENGE. Members of the Wanganui Ladies’ Golf Club went to Palmerston North to play an interclub match and also for the Seifert Cup. The Wanganui team was unsuccessful in quest for the cup and the inter-club match. the second round, giving him an aggregate of 2 up, and the Balgownie Cup for 1939. F. C. Hutchison, 1 down in the first round, and 2 up in the second, with an aggregate of 1 up, was runner-up. F. G. Hunterville Visitors Yesterday a team from the Hunterville Golf Club played an inter-club match at Seafield. Twelve holes were played in the morning, when 'cards were just about all square.

In the afternoon a two-ball boge.v was played. Sea field proved too i strong for their visitors. The team's score was 10 up. Dr. Burnett, president of the Hunterville Golf Club, played C. H. Bensel, captain of Seafield Club, This match was a hard-fought game, the score being one up for the captain. A very enjoyable day was had b> visitors and members.
