(Own Correspondent). j PATEA, June 18. Mrs. E. Horner, with 107—36—71, returned the best score in the medal round on Saturday and won the nonhandicap trophy. Mrs. T. Cardiff, with 104—26—78. won the handicap trophy. There was a record attendance of members and the qualifyers for the president’s trophy will play off as follows, first round to be completed by July 10:—Mrs. Horner v. Miss McLougall, Mrs. Kehely v. Mrs. Haddow. Miss Barber v. Miss Green, Mrs. Sounness v. Mrs. Gillon. Mrs. Broker v. Miss Anderson, Mrs. Adams v. Mrs. Carey, Miss Crawford v. Miss L. Carey, Miss Barnes v. Mrs. Cardiff. The following is the draw for this week’s Stableford match:— Wednesday.—Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Kehely, Mrs. Broker and Mrs. Cathro, Miss Carey and Mrs. Paton, Mrs. Carey and Mrs. Sounness, Mrs. Cardiff and Miss Mairs, Mrs. Derrett and Miss Crawford, Mrs. Gillon and Miss Hurley, Mrs. Haddow and Miss O’Reilly, Mrs. Peacock and Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Horner.
