MARTON CIVIC THEATRE -SWEETHEARTS” A new Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy and a new warmth, colour and comedy spirit in musicals makes itself manifest in “Sweethearts.” tilth co-starring musical of the famous singing team, which will be screened this evening and to-mor-row afternoon and evening at the Civic Theatre. Technicolour nas given both singers a more vivid personality, while the up-to-the-minute story provides the stars with comedy characterisations which should win them legions of new followers. In “Sweethearts’’ Miss MacDonald and Eddy portray two Broaciway musical comedy stars who are husband and wife in private life. Ladies are cordially invited. GOLF MARTON v. FEILDING At Feilding on Thursday an interclub match was played between the Marton and Feilding Ladies’ Golf Clubs.
