HOUSE WARMING
PARTY AT I TIKI (Own Correspondent.) UTIKU, May 39. A very happy evening was spent at the magnificent new residence of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mickleson at Utiku recently when a number of friends gathered to wish the newly-wedded couple the best of everything in their married life. The time was passed pleasantly in games and dancing while items were rendered by Messrs. J. Dev<ui and J. Longhuane. Music was supplied byMr. Armstrong on the piano accordion. Before the guests departed Mr. . Thorpe, in a happy' speech, proposed the toast of Mr. and Mrs. Mickleson and thanked them for the pleasant evening and the delicious supper provided. The toast was drunk enthusiastically with musical honours and Mr. Mickleson returned thanks on behalf of his wife and self. Those present, were Mr. and Mrs. Thorpe. Mr. and Mrs. O'Connor, Mr. and Mrs. Vickers. Mr. and Mrs. D. Ryan. Mr. and Mrs. Dean, Misses Mickleson. Donovan. S. Hall, M. Hall, Messrs. Longhuane (2), Armstrong, Mickleson (4), Devlin.
