FESTIVAL AT MARTOX 'Own Correspondent) MARTON, May 21. | The Civic Theatre was the scene jof much festivity on Friday night, when the Town Baby committee I staged their long-awaited Gipsy ball. The presence of men in uniform from the military camp at the racecourse added to the bright, atmosphere. Ashton's dance band provided the music for a well-varied programme, while Mr. R. Neilsen provided extras on the piano-accordion. The dancing , was interspersed with several items, the artists being Miss M. Twigg, skip- . ping dance; Miss M. Lound, lap dance: piano-accordion, Mrs. J. [Wales; humour. Mr. J. Gibson, and magic. Mr. W. Jackson. I Further attractions were fortunetelling and competitions, the winners being Mr. R.
