U.5.A.,” the amusing comedy that will be shown, finally today and to-night at the Plaza Theatre. The plot concerns the kidnapping of Will Hay and the hilarious consequences, and is well up to the high standard set by Will Hay In former pictures, such as “Boys Will De Boys. ' A music-mad cohegian who develops into a synthetic football star in the unique role portrayed by Joe Penner in his latest R.K.O. Radio comedy, "Mr. Doodle Kicks Off,” the second attraction. The popular radio and screen star aspires to be a band leader, but his father plans a football career for him. June Travis, Richard Lane, Ben Alexander, Billy Gilbert, and Jack Carson are seen in supporting roles. “Always in Trouble,” and “Sharpshooters.” Mischievous Jane Withers is in a jam again! Whether you take this to mean jam in the pantry or on the highway—it still spells trouble for filmdom's sixth most popular star. Audiences will agree that “Always in Trouble,” screening to-morrow at the Plaza Theatre, is not only Jane’s best film escapade, but also by father best picture title. Always filled with good intentions, always trying to help folks out, always hoping to square things up, and always— Trouble, Trouble, Trouble. That’s Jane to a "T.” She thinks there isn’t a scrape she can’t get out of, and, there isn't! This time Janes a poor little rich girl whose family nas gone high hat on her. Remembering the good old days before riches made Dad a slave to a board of directors, Mother a social climber, Sister a prey of fortune-hunters, and Uncle Ed a retired playboy, Jane decided to do something about it to bring the family down to earth. With tne unerring showmanship that his been responsible for several of the most entertaining and successful picture series, 20th. Century-Fox has again directed its production talent and resources to the creation of a new series of action pictures, dramatising the exploits of “The Camera Daredevils,” the first of which, “Sharpshooters,” will be seen on the same programme. The heroes of this new series are two devil-may-care newsreel photographers chasing danger ’round the world!
