Coy., Ltd., Messrs. Hastings and Lloyd Hammond addressed suppliers at a very well attended meeting on Monday afternoon. The speakers explained the working of the pools in other areas, and after a long discussion a motion was passed approving of the formation of a pool in tWi? district. GOLF MATCH Marton and Rangitikei Ladies’ Golf Clubs played a match on Monday, results (with Rangitikei players mentioned first) being as follow: Mrs. Clark halved with Miss Cochrane. Miss McKenzie defeated Mrs. Barrett, Miss Amon lost to Miss Sutcliffe. Mrs. Hendry halved with Miss Aidworth, Dalrymple lost to Mrs. Leonard, Mrs. Russell defeated Mrs. Cochrane. Miss Perrett lost to Mrs. McFarlane. Mrs. Lawrence lost to Miss Meads. Miss Palmer defeated Miss K. Galpin, Mrs. Tricker lost to Mrs. Aidworth, Miss Coleman lost to Miss N. Simpson, Miss Field lost to Miss Arkwright, Miss K. Amon lost to Miss R. Mog/idge, Miss N. Anderson lost to Miss J. Galpin, Miss F. Anderson lost to Miss Alexander.
