FINANCING CATHOLIC CHURCH
AUSTRIAN BISHOP’S DECISION CHURCH TAN AND CONTRIBUTIONS •Received May 15, 5.5 p.m. VIENNA, May 14. As a consequence of the disestablishment, a conference of bishops has decided to finance the Catholic Church in Austria partly from a church tax and partly from voluntary contributions. Dr. Buerckel must approve the church’s budget.
