REPLACING THE PARIS SAME TYPE AS THE NORMANDIE Received May 10, 5.5 p.m. PARIS, May 9. A ship of the same type as the Normandie, but less luxuriously fitted and with more cargo space, is 1o be built to replace the liner Paris, which was damaged by fire at Le Havre. As the only shipyard capable of such work is occupied by an aircraft carrier, the keel canont be laid down before 1940, and the completion of lhe vessel is unlikely before 1943.
