NIVAL DESERTERS
HALS. ENDEAVOUR REPORT BEING OBTAINED. LONDON, April 26. | Mr. Geoffrey Shakespeare, Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty, replying to the allegation of discontent among the lower-deck ratings of H.M.S. Endeavour since the Endeavour was commissioned for service in New Zealand two years ago, said there were 15 desertions, but no complaints had reached the Admiralty regarding conditions. He said he was obtaining .a report.
