WANGANUI ROAD AMATEURS RACE OVER NINE MILES TO-MORROW'S HANDICAPS The Wanganui Amateur Roa<. Cycling Club will open their 1939 season wit h a 9-mile race to-morrow. Tne race is timed to start at 2.3 d p.m. and the course will be round the Kaimatira Block, starting and finishing at the Red Lion Inn. The following handicaps have been declared: - M. Byrens, I. Danielson, W. Pidwell, virtual scratch. W. Beswarick, R. Dcarslcy, K. Hodson, J. Chalk, Imin. ssec. E. Davidson, F. Brown, G. Broadbent, B. Cox, Imin. 30sec. G. Sullivan, J. Jeromson, P. Foley. 2min. G. Seconi, H. Taylor, F. Clinton, 2min. 20sec. L. Gestro, L. Neverman, 3min. All new members and any other cyclists who are not handicapped wit; be allotted their handicaps before the start.
