THE GERMAN NAVY FATE OF TREATY WITH BRITAIN LONDON, March 20. Reuter’s Berlin correspondent understands that at a conference Herr Adolf Hitler and his Ministers debated whether to denounce the Anglo-Ger-man Navy Treaty. Apparently no decision was reached. It is believed that Herr Hitler, realising that it was impossible immediately to build up the fleet beyound treaty limits, favours an increase in the air force to show his displeasure at the democratic reactions to his latest conquest. ABROGATION NOT MENTIONED. Received March 22, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, March 21. An interview of 40 minutes between the Polish Ambassador the Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, was the chief diplomatic event this morning. Germany has not broached the question of abrogation of the AngloGerman Naval Treaty.
