MARTON SALE BIDDING SLOW. The New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of 650 sheep and several pens of pigs. There was a good attendance but bidding on lambs particularly was very slow, the continued dry weather seems to have affected the store lamb market more than the breeding ewe. A very nice line of 2tooth ewes on account Mr. John Wing realised 28s . Practically the whole yarding was disposed of as follows:—2-tooth ewes extra good 28s, b.f.' lamb 9s; fat woolly wethers 20s 3d; medium w.f. lambs 8s Id to 8s 2d; small ditto, 7s 8d; tail-end lots 3s 6d; fattening ewes, ss; fat and forward 2-tooths 15s; weaner pigs, 7s to 9s; small weaner pigs, 5s 6d to 6s 6d.
