HITHER AND THITHER

Garden Circle Afternoon. Miss Gibbons was hostess at a delightful afternoon given at her home yesterday for the members of the Garden Circle, Palmerston North. The house was tastefully decorated for the occasion and a dainty afternoon tea was served. Among those present at the afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Miller, of London. Grand Dance. Another grand dance is to be held in the Nukumaru Hall to-night. The music is to be supplied by Jack Hooker and his Swing Band. There is a good floor and there will be novelty dances. A good supper is being provided and altogether a flrsti class evening’s entertainment is assured patrons.
