THE HONEY TAX

ATTENTION drawn to REGULATIONS ( Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, March 6. “The attention of grocers, retailers and other resellers of honey is drawn to the necessity for affixing the new marketing seals to all containers of honey sold on or after March 1 this year,' 1 stated Mr. F. R. Picot, Director of Internal Marketing, in an interview to-day. “Under the honey marketing regu-

lations the final responsibility for seeing that these seals are attached to each container rests on the retailer. The seals referred to are similar in appearance to ordinary postage stamps and have different values for various sized containers. They are available in all necessary denominations from the Internal Marketing Division, Wellington, or Auckland, on the payment of the appropriate fees. Should there be any doubt regarding the procedure to be adopted /he division will be pleased to advise.
