WANGANUI BEATEN WELLINGTON HAS EASY WIN [ P«i Pres Association.! WELLINGTON, March. The Wellington women's cricket ’ learn beat Wanganui at. Iho Prince ot Wales Park, on Saturday, by nine wickets and 58 runs. Batting first on an excellent wicket. Wellington scored 134 runs. Miss J. Hall, the Wanganui fast bowler, took five wickets for 39 runs. Opening tor Wanganui, Miss M. Simpson scored 21 tuns and Miss K. Lockett 23, the remainder were disappointing. The total was 84 runs. Miss N. Sheridan took five wickels for 21 runs, including lhe hat trick. Wellington, in its second innings, declared it closed wilh one wicket down for 63 runs. Miss O Whitelaw scored 39 not out, and Miss W. Tasker 23 not out. Wanganui, in its second innings, scored 55 runs.
