ARMSTRONG MEMORIAL TO WAHNOOKA INCREASE ON TOTALISATOR [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 4. Beautiful, sunny weather prevailed to-day for the second day of the Wellington Trotting Club’s autumn meeting. The track was again hard and fast. Despite small fields in some of events there was a large crowd present and speculation was brisk, the totalisator handling £28,691 10s, compared with £24,090 put through for the single day last year. The total for the meeting was £44,881 10s. Results:—
