CASTLECLIFF GOLF CLUB

THE OPENING DAY The Castlecliff Golf Club opened its season on Saturday. The weather was all that could be desired although rain will be welcome. A large crowd of members and visitors played, and were entertained at afternoon tea by the ladies. Mr. E. A. Millward, the president, in a happy speech, welcomed old and new members, wishing them a pleasant golfing year, also drawing their attention to the coming Easter tournament. A special effort is to be made to get the course further improved. The winners of the mixed foursome were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Brown, and the medal round for players without partners, by Mr. H. A. Dean.
