McKENZIE WINS SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS (Own Correspondent) MARTON, March 5. The final for the singles championship was played between R. McKenzie and H. Rayner, and resulted in a win for McKenzie by 24 points to 9. McKenzie will represent Marton in the champion of champions at Wanganui. MARTON v. WANGANUI EAST. Eight rinks from Wanganui East visited Marton during the week-end and an enjoyable day’s bowls resulted in a win on aggregate points for morning and afternoon games.
