THEFT OF TEN SHILLINGS
MOTOR BANDIT BEHEADED IN GERMANY BERLIN, March 3. For holding up and robbing a motorist of a sum equivalent to ten shillings, Arthur Gose, aged 19, was beheaded, making the seventh execution for motor banditry since the decree against the offence last June. The authorities defend the severity on the ground that they are making the roads safe for Germans and foreigners.
