HEAVY PURCHASE BY FRANCE Received Feb. 15. 11.4 u j / i. WASHINGTON, Feb. 14. The French Embassy has announced that the Air Mission has purchased over 500 new warplanes from the United States, besides the 100 ordered last year. The companies involved are the Douglas, Curtis, Glenn Martin and North American. The prices are not announced but it is understood that the total is over 60,000,000 dolars.
