AUCKLAND CLUB Totalisator Turnover Up £25,000 STABLEMATES MONOPOLISE BIG RACE SEVERAL TRAINERS FINED [ Ter Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 15. The Auckland Trotting ’ Club's meeting was concluded at Epsom today. A slight drizzle fell after the second race. The track was in good order and the attendance fair. The totalisator for the day handled £32,121, against £24,266 10s last year, and for the meeting £69,062, as against £45,294 for two days last year. An inquiry was held after the Alexandra Park Handicap and as a result M. Stewart, driver of Navy Blue, was fined £5 for careless driving. Several

drivers were lined 10s for dropping their feet from the footrests oi the sulkies. S. A. Cutts, who was fined £5 for misconduct and threatening behaviour in the birdcage by the stipendiary stewards, appealed against the line and when his case was heard by the stewards the action of the stipendiary stewards was approved and Cutts was ordered to forfeit the £2 appeal deposit.
