WELLINGTON BOWLERS VISIT MARTON
MARTON, Feb. 15. Two rinks from the Wellington Bowling Club, who are on their way to Wanganui to play for the Duthie Cup on Thursday in the triangular contest between Wanganui, Hutt and Wellington, paid a visit to the Marton green on Wednesday afternoon to indulge in a friendly game with Marton, with the following result, Wellington players being mentioned first: Reynolds, Fletcher, Laurie, O’Donnell 9, v. Mogridge, Low, Morrison, Atkinson 23.
Thompson, McKenzie, Potter Mayer 25, v. Lewis, Hemplenian, Hunter, Hawkins 19.
